Sarah, who lives near Morecambe in the UK, has published poetry, short stories, plays and a libretto for an opera. She is a writing coach and has conducted writing workshops and courses in a variety of settings - including schools and universities - for almost 20 years.
She is a co-founder of the Writing Smithy, a mentoring and manuscript appraisal service for writers,
and works for the poetry publisher Arc Publications, where she promotes new titles from poets from other countries, including Iceland, Turkey and Burma.
Sarah is also a past winner of the prestigious Arvon Foundation
“Six-Word Short Story” Prize and in 2013 her poetry collection "Lune" was runner-up in the Sabotage pamphlet awards.
