The French House Party property is in the rural Languedoc, only a couple of hours' drive to the Spanish border. There are great views of the Pyrenees to the south and the Black Mountains to the north.

Carcassonne's walled city was the set used in the movie Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, starring Kevin Costner.
